Choice of shoes
XSole PTI insoles replace the comfort insoles of safety shoes and work shoes. They can be used in any type of shoe ranging from 36 to 48 EU.
For optimal comfort, we recommend respecting following advices:
- Prefer EN20345 or EN20347 safety shoes with composite anti-perforation sole.
- Prefer shoes with a flat inner bottom
- Avoid shoes with an excessively low upper and too narrow at the foot arch
Podiatric insoles
Wearers of podiatry insoles can ask their doctor if it is possible to adapt their insoles to host the electronic and ghost modules. Download XSole PTI insoles datasheet for technical details. The material used by the podiatrist must be as non-magnetic as possible so as not to impact communication and geolocation performance.
Podiatry insoles are then used instead of XSole PTI insoles during the day. To recharge the insoles, the wearer must replace the medical insole with the XSole PTI insoles.
Installation of XSole PTI insoles in shoes
The installation of the soles is very simple:
1 - assemble of insoles and modules (in case your insoles was not delivered pre-assembled)
2 - pair the insoles with the wearer using the XS Manager application
3 - install the insoles in the shoes
